MEMBERS/JURISDICTION
EXECUTIVE BOARD:
Members of the Executive Board are elected by the membership via secret ballot. Upon being elected, they meet each month to discuss solutions to problems arising in a growing local union operation. Board members should represent a cross section of local membership, each familiar with the problems of those they serve.

JURISDICTION:
  • Freight & General: 50 air mile line east of the Oklahoma/Texas/Arkansas state line, from Missouri to Louisiana.
  • UPS: All centers west of a straight line from Mountain Home to El Dorado.
  • Heavy Highway & Construction: Counties of Polk, Scott, Yell-Logan, Johnson, Newton, Madison, Franklin, Crawford, and Sebastian.
  • No Pipeline Construction.
    • OUR MEMBERS:
    We are a diversified Local Union representing members in various fields. These include employees at UPS, ABF, Roadway and Yellow Freight. We also represent employees at Arkhola Sand & Gravel, Ruan Transportation, Arkansas/Oklahoma Gas Corporation, and Drivers/Salesmen at Wonder/Dolly Madison, Pepsi, and Coke. We also represent the Plant/Garage at Coke.

    MEETINGS:
    General Membership Meetings are held the second Sunday of each month at 2:00 PM at the Union Hall. Normally held to one hour, agendas consist of regular Union business including Opening Ceremonies, Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag of the United States, Introduction of New Members and Voting on Applicants, Roll Call of Officers, Reading of Minutes, Reading of Financial Report, Report of Trustees, Communications, Old and New Business, Good and Welfare, Honor any New Retirees, and Closing Ceremonies. If a certain craft, group of members, or a Steward has a need for extra time, Officers and Business Agents are happy to stay after the meeting and/or will set up a time to attend to those specific matters.
    All members are encouraged to make a special effort to attend General Membership Meetings. Be sure to check your Union Bulletin Board monthly for meeting information.
    CREDIT UNION:
    As a member of Teamsters Local Union 373, you have access to First Resource Credit Union.
